Background: Hi, I’m Lindsay Amondi, born in Carmel, NY. I've been an educator for 23 years, with the past three years spent at Little Garden Montessori. Ever since I was a child, I dreamt of becoming a veterinarian and then a teacher, and I’m grateful to be living out one of those dreams every day.

Teaching Philosophy: The best advice I’ve ever received is, "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." This has guided me throughout my career and life. As a parent, I wish I had known how independent children can be at a young age and the importance of giving them the space to explore and grow on their own.

Inspiration: What inspires me the most about working at Little Garden Montessori is being part of a close-knit team and community that feels like family. I truly love coming to work every day, surrounded by colleagues who share my dedication to nurturing young minds.

Montessori Work: My favorite Montessori activities to teach are sound work and letter and number recognition. I find immense joy in watching children master these skills, as they lay a strong foundation for their future learning.

Montessori vs. Traditional Education: Having worked in a traditional school environment, I appreciate the unique benefits of Montessori education. I value how it promotes independence, which in turn fosters confidence and problem-solving abilities in children.

Favorite Part of Working with Kids: My favorite part of working with kids is watching them grow and learn. I delight in seeing them evolve and take pride in their milestones, celebrating their achievements alongside them.

Message to Parents: I wish parents knew that we’re all learning together and that it truly takes a village to raise our children. At Little Garden Montessori, we’re in this journey together, supporting each other every step of the way.
